A recent post on the official site of All Points Bulletin states that Realtime Worlds is promising to tackle all the problems that players have been talking about since the launch of the title. The much awaited massively multiplayer online shooter has proved to be quite a disappointment for many fans because of the lacking gameplay mechanics like poor driving, unwieldy shooting and buggy matchmaking.

The developers have said that they will take care of all of these issues in the coming months and have issued a to-do list for the community's feedback. As APB players have requested several times already, the combat system and the vehicle handling will get a major overhaul across the board.

Realtime Worlds promises to deliver a better and more responsive control for the title's cars and change the way some of the weapons fire and feel. All of this will be done with the feedback of the community, as they will first be posted on the Public Test World,(apb gold) with an official patch coming out the the players are satisfied.

Furthermore, cheaters and campers are already in the developer's visor, as it is planning to introduce a new modality of catching and eliminating those who use an unfair advantage. The worst camping places will be eliminated in the next patch, while the rest will be tweaked as time goes on. Mission objectives will be modified to allow for more strategic play, diversity and interaction.

Matchmaking is also on its way to receive improvements, with new ways to calculate player threat and how the missions are distributed for a more balanced experience for all APB fans. In addition to all this, the developers are starting to research the implementation of Worlds functioning on different rule sets, for an easier entry for newbies, but also for hardcore players that want an extra challenge.
