Realtime Worlds, the developer of All Points Bulletin, has announced that it wants a few more players to try out its game in the third closed beta stage, set to begin shortly. All those who are interested in trying the MMO that pits Criminals against Enforcers in a persistent world can visit the official site for beta applications and wait for confirmation that they have been accepted. The beta stage of APB does not offer access to the entire experience but enough it to allow players to form an opinion and offer important feedback.

Realtime Worlds, which previously worked on Crackdown, are describing their newest project as offering Mass Mayhem Online. Players will be able to create a character using a wide array of cosmetic options that extend to the way veins appear on muscular arms, and then side with either the law or the criminals as they shoot up the town of San Paro.

Dave Jones, who is the creative director of Realtime Worlds, stated that “We’re looking forward to welcoming thousands of new players to San Paro in the coming weeks. As APB enters this final stage of closed beta testing, we’re anticipating a huge surge of interest with gamers from all over the world applying to take part and provide invaluable feedback to the development team preparing us for launch.”

The big twist of APB is that it relies on the actual shooting skill (apb gold)of the player in order to determine their success in a firefight. The city will be a constant battleground and defensive and offensive battles for control of sectors will be waged day and night, as territory brings with its character progression and the possibility to upgrade weapons and vehicles.

APB is set to arrive at the same time in North America and in Europe, although Realtime Worlds has not announced a clear date.
