Develop has since confirmed that the company has gone into administration, but that work is being done to save the US arm of the business and keep APB(All Points Bulletin) running.
The troubles Realtime faces are thought to be down to the poor performance of APB on release. Servers have remained quite empty, and the millions invested in the 5-year project therefore don’t look like they will see a return.
It’s now unclear what the future holds for both Realtime Worlds and APB(apb gold), but players should for the moment be able to continue playing. It’s also very unlikely Project MyWorld will ever see a release unless an investor steps up to take on the project funding.
